Will this station ever be reopened? I know there are plans to. How would it be linked to City Airport and the DLR Station that will be built there should this station be reopened?

There are no plans to re-open the station.
The station building has been demolished and the alignment will be used by Crossrail.
The DLR has a station at London City Airport.

Any new station on Crossrail would have to be slightly east of the old site, and I understand that the line there has been designed in such a way that such a station would be possible (although calling it passive provision would give too strong an impression I think), but there are no current plans to build it and any new plans would need to come with funding.
I've idly wondered about someone buying up Saville Road and/or Leonard Street and converting them into a high street or shopping centre linking the airport and a crossrail station. It would be a major investment though so its unlikely to say the least without a significant expansion of the airport.
