Hello
Is there any information anywhere as to when the 1962 stock Rail Adhesion Train will run this season (and the A Stock sandite unit), as a friend already spotted it by surprise at South Ruislip on Saturday.

The 1962 stock RAT was very visible at Hainault last week.

1962 stock RAT noted at Ealing Broadway today, departed at 13.35 for North Acton.

I photographed the A Stock RAT 5110/5111 at Hillingdon and Harrow-on-the-Hill last Friday. There were some times posted on a thread last year (early Oct I think) and it would appear that they are similar this year. Hope that helps.

The leaf fall season appears to be very late this year. There are not usually so many leave on the trees by what is now nearly mid December. I wonder if the season has run late due to the very cold Spring this year and few frosts so far this Autumn / Winter. Are the Central Line and Met Line RAT's still operating? I spent a quite a bit of time photographing the Mince Pie Express between Uxbridge and Harrow yesterday and did not see 5110/5111 but it could well have passed me by when driving from one location to another. Is it still operating?

The Central Line RAT was running on Saturday. I was heading into town and it passed me between Loughton and Buckhurst Hill. Too quick for me to get a picture!

Expect the Central Line runs to continue for a while, into the first 2 weeks of 2014.

I was lucky enough to see the Central Line RAT at Newbury Park at about 11:30 this morning on the outer rail. Did manage to get a couple of photos through the fence from King George Ave thanks to my sister stopping her car for me.
Also saw the Track recording train at Woodford on Tuesday when I arrived from the airport. Unfortunately I couldn't get my phone out in time for photos. Wonder if I'll be lucky enough to see any more works trains (a ballast train would be good) before I leave.
