Hi all. Recently, I have noticed members of staff at Wimbledon equipped with clipboards and high-visibility jackets. They are generally found at the far end of the platform (by the signal plungers) and their clipboards have a sheet of paper with the train numbers on. I suspect that they are taking down the departure times, and picking up on drivers who are not quite on time when leaving, but can anyone confirm this?

DRMs are ensuring we leave on time and even operate the TRTS plungers for us. Don't agree with this at all.

Has there been an issue with trains leaving late from Wimbledon? I have to say that if there has been, then some form of monitoring is probably justified. As long as drivers aren't being targeted for lateness which is beyond their control, then I don't see the problem with it.

Strange no one is at Richmond maybe something to do with a very high ranking bod on the underground lives at Southfields.

IMHO they should be at the station end of the platform noting if the departure screens bear any semblance to the order in which trains actually leave.
