Does anyone know where I can find track plans for Ealing Broadway station in the 1879-1905 steam working era? I know from old ordnance survey maps there was a cross over pair of facing points just beyond the platform ends, but was there a similar pair of points for loco release and run-round within the overall roof trainshed, or did the MDR (District) operate like the LNWR and have an arrival platform and a departure platform (with no loco release points near the buffers), and therefore use a pilot engine to transfer the stock? There appears to be a short fenced-off loco bay on the north side of the platforms - is this what that was for?

There is a scissors crossover at the platform ends in the 1894 town plan.
Look on old-maps.co.uk

I've also managed to dig out a signalling plan, just after the electrification and there are umpteen spares, so it would indicate that there was significant layout simplification.

mrfs42 Many thanks indeed. The only plan I could find blocked out the view under the train shed. Scissors crossover eh?....well, that will get me modelling!!!
