Six runs each an hour apart is surely tight for water and coaling. Is more than one loco being used and if so where is the changeover? I presume platform 6 at Harrow-on-the-Hill will be used to reverse there. The first and last workings no doubt come from and return to Neasden. Is that correct? The starts at Ruislip Depot and runs empty to Harrow on the Hill Pfm 6, then after completing all the trips it returns empty from Harrow Pfm 6 to Rusilp Depot Formation: Met No.1+Sarah Siddons No.12+4TC set+Carriage 353+Class 20

I too am waiting for details, as I was down to steward on 353 but have not yet been given details. I was sent stewarding details several weeks ago so if yours haven't reached you I suggest you contact Andy or Diane asap.

It seems that Met 1 is more unreliable than the S stock when they were first introduced!

The advert promoting SOTM says this may be the last time steam runs from Harrow to Uxbridge. Anyone know why?

So does that mean no more steam on any part of Met or is the signalling on the Amersham branch different?

Seen somewhere else that this marks the 75th anniversary of the resiting of Uxbridge station.

I've just returned from Ruislip Manor where the 11:50 from Harrow sailed through in great style. One forgets the smell and taste of steam. Very evocative of a bygone era.

Fabulous pics, Julian. I only managed a few amateurish snapshots. Very atmospheric shot of Uxbridge with the steam swirling around under the roof.

Has L150 had a new roof fitted to the cab ? It looks lower than before.

It certainly has got a lower roof on it. Had a ride on the 11:50 ex HTOH. Was good to hear the noise of Sarah making some effort. Not too fussed about GWR locomotives - I get them nearly every day at work! Watched the 12:50 come through Rayners Lane afterwards which I presume was running a few minutes behind time judging by the enthusiasm coming from L150
