I see from the TfL website that the Chesham branch is closed on Sunday 6 October - the day that my Ramblers group has a walk starting from Chesham. (As Membership Secretary, it falls to me to check train times in the new programme before sending it out).
Using Journey Planner to find times from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Chesham, this gives bus connections from Amersham to Chesham connecting with Chiltern trains, but also an hourly Met train service from Northwood to Chesham.
So is the branch closed on 6 October, or is it just a reduced service?
