Any idea where this timetable can be found.. The tfl journey planner is suggesting travel via West Brompton or via Shepherds Bush - I'm coming into London from the Victoria line.. Might be nice to know whether it's quicker to wait at Earl's Court for the Exhibition Service..

Quite funny today at Earl's Court. My brother and I were at Earl's Court on the westbound platforms. The arrow indicators on platform 4 were pointing to Olympia, and the DMIs saying "Check Front of Train". A C Stock pulled in to platform 4 with the destination blind showing Wimbledon. CSA made an announcement telling passengers to disregard the platform indicator saying Olympia and that the train was a Wimbledon service, as the destination blind was showing. We were standing next to the CSA and he was then speaking to the control room. I heard the CSA say "...well it says Wimbledon on the front so I'm assuming it's going to Wimbledon", to which the control room person said it was actually an Olympia service. The CSA walked to the cab of the train to speak to them, and at this time an announcement came from the control room telling passengers that the train on platform 4 was for Olympia and NOT Wimbledon. Quite a few passengers got off. CSA came back to make another announcement to reiterate that it was going to Olympia, and I'm pretty sure announcements were made in the train confirming its actual destination. Majority of passengers left the train, and the train left. A passenger came up to the CSA and said "That's caused a lot of confusion" to which the CSA said "The traincrew didn't know where they were meant to be going!".

There was a similar story on here a couple of months ago with a driver not knowing that the exhibition service was running and caused a similar problem. I'd have thought this would be well advertised in the depots, and especially to the T/Ops when they book on?

Would be stated in the traffic circular too. The train driver should really have known where he was going. Did they change drivers at Earls Court?

Thanks for the update Dstock7080 - in the end we went via West Brompton anyway. As there was an Exhibition service waiting as we staggered out later, we climbed on and trundled round to Ken High St. Several confused persons (not obviously from the GBBF), climbed on at Earls Court and seemed somewhat annoyed that it wasn't going along past Victoria... don't know what the indicators said at Earls Court but there seemed to be quite a few upset people.
