Ah, but why is it called "Great Central"? Who cares...not enough time (or attention span) for such pointless frivolities as facts or explanations. These "documentaries" are so short that they can't even provide enough detail to make the featured "Secrets" interesting; the most glaring example of this was to point out (in the Northern Line one, of course) that Embankment has a curved platform, but then to say nothing about the bombed and abandoned flooded loop tunnel under the Thames. You might as well have said nothing.

I think that's a little harsh, you must remember the target audience for these videos.
I'm enjoying them all so far!

What is the target audience? I know it's not us Tube-freaks, but even "normals" would appreciate a little more substance; it would only take a few seconds added to the running time to address the points mentioned that would otherwise be greeted with a "so?" (or subconsciously dismissed as irrelevant). Sorry if that is a little harsh, but it's frustrating.

I enjoy them too, though I admit this one isn't my favourite. A bit too much time on the short-cut (ironically) and I agree it would have taken just a few seconds to explain more about "Great Central". But still, in general I think they are great little films and if they inspire people to find out more, then why not?

Will the drain be covered? I am not talking about local plumbing.

Great stuff, as always Geoff. Must try the Piccadilly Circus trick when I go to Holborn on Friday

Yeh, nice little vid. Just a wee correction; first (and second on Saturdays and Sundays) leave the Elephant direct from the platforms not from the sidings.
