As you may or may not know from yesterday till now and probably carrying on there has been an AMP between West Hamstead and Stanmore but theres no TSR in place or any track work being carried out. The only reason I could think of could be while on the southbound you enter West Hamstead quickly and the wheels bounce slightly as well as the difficulty in stopping in the rain and the probable EB that would occur as a result of overspeed?

Firstly, it is ANP not AMP.
Secondly, it is to do with stopping smoothly in the rain.
