Are the 5 sidings located to the east of Woodford station all in use? Last time I was there some of them looked old and had not seen a train for a long time.
Any information would be appreciated.

Yes. All sidings in use. 5 trains (plus one from bay platform 1) scheduled daily.

From memory Woodford sidings are empty 6:30am - 11:30pm Mon- Sat, 9am - 8:30pm Sun, unless we’re putting trains away for a shutdown, go earlier or later than those times and you’ll see trains in there. Or at least that's until September when we get the new timetable

I remember a time when Woodford wasn't used on a Sunday,there were 4 trains stabled there Saturday night & 2 extra stabled at Hainault(Bay road & 1 other were left empty.

Indeed, this was the case until at least WTT 53. There were 4 trains stabled there on Sat night. On Sunday, no trains started from there, with 2 more trains stabling there on Sunday night.

Yes,the 2 extra Saturday night used to stable Hainault(via G/H)after 1am & on Sunday morning enter service(via G/H) between 6:45 & 7am.
