Inset is the LTM cafe I think! Never been in that part of it but I think I was where the people are standing in the background the other day...
...I do know the main photo but I will not ruin it, someone else will probably reply just after saying where it is but I'll keep my modest prize of getting the inset (hopefully!)

I would guess that the Inset was s forum meet, judging by the custard?

Can't fault the custard! However it remains open as does the main location. But here is a clue: *Click image for a larger version*

Inset: Bakerloo Line and Central Line smoothies, and custard - LT Museum "Upper Deck Cafe", Covent Garden [Rincew1nd] (click for a larger version) The occassion being a mini forum meet when I was in The City for a weekend. As an aside, next time anyone is upstairs in the LT museum shop, have a close look at the height warning signs.

I remember the mini-meet. I think we managed to scare off a forum member who was alarmed by custard being displayed in broad daylight.
The main picture is intriguing. The cabinet with bits and bobs on confuses me, as it suggests that it might not be in a public area - however, I presume that it is in a public place. Somewhere like Chesham?

The cabinet is in a public area, but not one that is particularly like Chesham
