21001/2 I was told on the 24/07 that it is still away after I managed to lose all the shoes on it on the 02/07.
But yes, as of now, 21021/2 is still out and under a tarp at Neasden.

21001/2 still away - at Derby? Nah. Just in the backwaters of Neasden Depot somewhere. Being a workbank train I'd imagine they would just want to make local repairs.

Hi all!
Is 21021-21022 still out of service at Neasden please? as I thought I saw it (well a friend, who spots for me, as I can't see to read the numbers myself) at Baker Street plat 4 on either Tuesday 16. or Tuesday 23. July at around 16.00.
I may of course have misheard him and in which case I'll have to add this one back to my list of S8s still required. The other two I need are 21009-21010, which I believe is in traffic and 21027-21028 just returned from mods in Derby. How long will it be before this one's back in service again please? Many thanks in advance for any help.
Best Wishes to all!
Green Lion.

What happened to it for something so drastic to be considered?

Goodness! I don't think it was 21021-21022 then which I saw; perhaps my friend needs an eye test :-))
Sounds like this one will be OOS for some time then!
How badly was 21025-21026 damaged during its derailment at Neasden? hopefully not as badly.
Take care all and many thanks for all the gen.
Best Wishes

What's left of it has been sitting at the north end of Neasden Depot for ages, and still is, under a blue tarp. It's going nowhere. Not nearly as badly as the other train, put it this way.

Hi all!
Is there any more news as to the fate of 21021-21022; the Rickmansworth derailment victim please?.
I note that the other S Stock derailed at Neasden 21025-21026, is today (Wednesday 25/09/13) on its way back from mods at Derby, so presumably will be back in traffic again soon.
Any further info on 21021-21022 would be greatly appreciated.
Best Wishes to all
Green Lion.

What exactly is damaged on 21021/22, or is this now allowed to be said?

Hi all!
Does anyone know whether 21021-21022 and 21025-21026 are now both back in traffic please? I spent an afternoon at Baker Street yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 22/10/13) from around 15.30 to 18.30 hoping to see these two, but neither of them was forthcoming.
Any further info on their whereabouts would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks and best wishes

Hi all!
Well! have now seen 21021-21022 back on the rails following her recent return from Derby for Mods. I'm still hoping to catch up with 21025-21026 and 21053-21054. Has anyone seen these around in service recently please?
Any help in tracking them down would be really appreciated.
Best Wishes to all

Hi all!
I get the distinct impression that I'm now chatting to myself on this thread! Is there anybody out there please?!
Well! I've now caught up with every S8 train I've been looking for apart from 21025-21026, which seems to have vanished!.
Could someone tell me where this one is hiding please? and whether it's likely to venture out of Neasden depot any time soon please?
I'm rapidly running out of friends willing to accompany me to Baker Street to confirm the numbers of the trains. Many of them think I'm going mad and that this train is a mere figment of my imagination.
If anyone is able to preserve both my sanity and that of my long suffering friends either on or off group, then I really would appreciate it.
MTIA for any help.
Best Wishes to all
Green Lion.
