B = Morden? C = South Wimbledon D = Clapham South?
Link = All Northern line stations on Morden Branch, so next one would be Collier's wood perhaps?

Here's the most bizarre answer so far: A=Sth Wimbledon,B=Morden, C=Tooting Broadway, D= Collier's Wood. On that understanding, 5th in series is Balham

I would say that Hatton Cross is the odd one out because it isn't on the morden branch. But I'm sure the quiz team wouldn't give us a quiz that easy...

Is Morden the odd one out, the others being in two fare zones. Elephant and Castle the fifth in the set zones 1/2, Clapham South 2/3, Wimbledon South 3/4 and Hatton cross 5/6?

Close! Very close! Hatton Cross is the odd one out not being on the Northern Line, and you are so close to the answer I have, though the fifth isn't Elephant & Castle.

I think I've worked it out? Morden = 2 Syllables, Clapham South = 3 Syllables, South Wimbledon = 4 Syllables, 5 Syllables = Tottenham Court Road, Mornington Crescent, Kings Cross St. Pancrass. So my guess it that it could be any of the above 5 syllables, but most likely TCR as it is the nearest?

The name of the stations is not relevant on this occasion, but the number of syllables is a very good idea so I've noted it for a future link. Thanks!

Think more about where the locations actually are, that should help you a bit.

No, the words aren't relevant in this case.
