I have recently obtained the June Model Rail magazine that contains an article on modelling London Transport. In the article there is a photograph of an engineers train consisting of a pair of bogie low side wagons topped and tailed by a pair of brake vans. I would like to model these wagons, is there a model or kit available? If not does anyone have information as to dimensions etc? I do have some old Hornby container flats that I hope to use as a basis for the models.

It makes three suggestions for LT based layouts and details what is available RTR with a passing mention of model kits. Not a great deal of detail but some interesting pics.

There's not much out there. Radley models are re-releasing their GP wagons soon. I'm making a pair too from scratch, photos to follow....

If its not minded me adding, just awaiting the production etches of my 4mm scale kit of the LT Hurst Nelson Brakevan in etched Nickel Silver with whitemetal castings www.rtmodels.co.uk/4mm%20scale%20lt%20hurst%20nelson%20brake%20van%20kit.jpga test etch of the RW 60ft rail wagon is also on its way for hopefully final approving, note the this wagon will only go around no less than 3rd rdius curves in ANY gauge due to both the narrow body and also the scale trussing inside. I will post some photos of the one thats nearly finished but has had some modifications made to the design to make it easier to build, just need to find the time to finish it this week. The design and development of these commenced about 3 years ago in wanting LT engineering stock but with a lot of heartache and money which has put me off for a bit from progressing with them i'm finally there with them.
