I used to have an N gauge set in the attic of my last property. Sadly i had to leave it there when i moved because it just became to large and was impractical to dissmantle. I took the stock with me which included mk1 and mk2 coaches class 101 dmu 47,37,25,08,a 56 i made from a diecast kit and a pair of 20's, and Loads of wagons. All diesels were Graham Farrish before they were bought out by Bachmann in 2001. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_FarishThese were notoriously unreliable mainly because the gears on the axles were a press fit and after a few years would split causing the teeth to hit each other and the loco to jump around the track. Bachmann's range looks superb as do the loco's. I don't doubt for one minute that the quality of the build has improved. All my time is spent simming on the computer now so i don't really see the point in setting up the railway in my new house.
