During my 50 years with L.T. I acquired many keepsakes along the way, one of which was a mug specially created for the District Line's125th anniversary (1868-1993) The mug is unusual in that it features a tunnel mouth on what could be described as the 'front' and the 'back' - the tunnel mouth is black with two red lights showing on one side only. However, when you fill the mug with a hot drink a 'D' Stock train comes into view - one approaching and the other (hence the two red lights) departing. Now I no longer have any further use for this item and would be happy to pass it onto a District Line enthusiast for a small (but not insignificant) donation to my retirement fund. Please telephone me on (removed by admin). I do have other interesting UndergrounD mugs to dispose of if interested. Many thanks. Jim Stringer

My dad was given a pewter mug to commemorate the opening of the Victoria Line, had a V superimposed on the LT roundel etched on the side, unfortunately it got lost over the years.Would probably be worth a few quid now.

I've got a London Underground 'Your Connections' Mug and a 'Loughton Depot goes live' mug.
