ok in blue peter mode: collect someold soft drinks cans line them up and papier mache them et voila something that looks a bit like a tube train all thats required is a lick of paint

Ha ha! Have you got one you made earlier? I actually do stuff like that! I tried to make some 1905 Met Saloon stock from scratch but have trouble! Currently I'm sorting out some latter met 1913/21 saloon stock. I'm building the sides and front/rear myself but using the chasis, bogies and roof from Dreadnought/T stock kits. Kitbashing is the best way to do it! Having said that, I was looking into making some D78 stock because there aren't any models! If you want dimensions tubeprune's website has them on: www.trainweb.org/tubeprune/Dimensions.htmSimply convert them to 0.76 scale (for 4mm)
