Was in Uxbridge with 2 met line trains, one in platform 4 for aldgate, one in platform 1 for baker street. Another met train comes into platform 3 with not in service displaying on the side of the train. It waits in the platform for a minute or two, and then departs. From the looks of it, it waited outside Uxbridge in a siding.
Anyone know why it did that?

Could have been a test run. Did you get the car numbers?

It was actually a training train for new drivers. It ran empty from Neasden Depot to Uxb Sgs, then into the platform then back through the sidings and off to Neasden Depot.  |

Ahh, interesting. So it ran through the reception roads to Hillingdon? Often wondered if such routing through them is a semi-regular occurance, as opposed to seperate moves covering different parts of it.
