You've surely heard the voice many times - now here's the face to go with it!
(skip manually to 1:51 if on iPad etc)
I would say Julie is the best voice on the Tube network - lovely tones and very clear, along the lines of Joanna Lumley in sophistication terms. It's always nice to hear that welcoming voice after arriving into Heathrow from a flight.

Her voice seems to be the default Bombardier DVA voice. Look at Class 375/377 or the London Midland Class 172's!

I'm guessing this clip was from the Radio 2 show? It was quite strange hearing her on that rather than on the train as I didn't notice it was her to begin with!

Correct, Colin! The clip of her 'in action' at the start said "This is a Piccadilly Line train to West Kensington", which would have surprised a few listeners who thought they knew the line were (like me!) and ties in with another forum thread here!
