LU colours/shades (for modelling)

This is a tough question because commercial spray paints vary in colour and it's each to his own. The way I paint my modern stock may be different to someone else's choice of colours.

However, have a look at this thread and if you like the colours I can reveal what I used....

If one of the modellers could find a definitive list of manufacturers paint codes used by modellers*, I'd be happy to make it a 'sticky' here.

*- Colours for models need to be 'scaled down', as the actual 1:1 scale colours do not look right if used on models.
