After discussing the C stock brakes, are there any members who have driven a 1995TS in real life, and tried the BVE4 version? I am wondering how realistic the BVE is, as the applications feel really 'light' in real life. I regularly hit Burnt Oak and Colindale at 45 on BVE, and although they are 9 car platforms I'm wondering if it would happen on the real thing.

You'd be speeding if you were doing that in real life . I guess maybe the T/Ops brake lightly before entering the platforms, as that way they wouldn't have to make such as harsh a brake application.. Just a guess though!

You'd be speeding if you were doing that in real life . Oh yeah it's only a 40 stretch innit? I'd love it if the southbound stretch from Barnet was done, the long hill leaving HBT is a fast section, you can still get some speed up before reducing for the 35 mph restriction..................... What I do with BO is approach in full motors, about 2 cars before the platform shut off and then at the start of the ramp throw the virtual CTBC into full service brake. I keep it there for most of the platform, easing off before getting to the mark. In reality, I see most drivers braking well before the platform.

Yup - only 40. What I do on approach to BO is start braking at the ramp, but only put it into something like B3 / B4, then ease off about midway down the platform, coming down to about 15 / 20mph when you get to the shadow of the bridge overhead. Then, B1 / B2 down to the stop mark.
