Noticed that the met is mostly suspended throughout today, and there's also no service on Chiltern between Amersham and Marylebone. However, the other sub-surface lines are operating normally, so where are the works taking place this time?
Cheers,
TSM

It is supposed to be drainage work at Pinner, track replacement at Harrow, signalling work at Neasden, and (some sort of) station work at Baker Street. Just 5 trains shuttling between Amersham/Chesham and Watford via the North Curve.
All four days apparently.

Yes, it's a good one for track bashers, if you can actually get to it!
I remember the weekend when A stock were still running. Much more fun! 5022-5113 and 5165-5134 were in use, the latter becoming the last all A62 formation!
I expect it's a 15min serivce this weekend with 2tp to Amersham and Chesham.

Also track replacement Wembley Park - Neasden apparently. Hmm.. With 5 different engineering projects going on, what are the chances of everything finishing on time before the AM peak on Tuesday then? Cheers, TSM

You get a good view of many of the work sites from the replacement buses, particularly Neasden and Harrow, not to mention a particularly good thrash down the A404 to Rickmansworth. Hell of a lot going on.

It's not your boys, it'll be the class 66's at Harrow North Junction! Well if you will live next to a railway line! Mind you, I'm about a mile away from the nearest line and my afternoon gin in the garden was disrupted by the drivers' whistling up for the line inspection.

Does this mean that the infamous points near Neasden depot are at last being replaced?

Where are the trains stabled, I am guessing Rickmansworth and Watford. Do any trains ever have to be stabled elsewhere because of engineering works. Was it not possible to provide any kind of shuttle on the uxbridge branch, and is the picadilly frequency being increased to compensate?

What happened to the Baker Street to Harrow bus that is promised on the TfL website. Arrived at harrow just now, only to be told it wasn't running. Why hasn't the website been updated? The service runs only in the very late evenings or early mornings. The timetable looks like this (based on departures): SERVICE E: BAKER STREET TO HARROW-ON-THE-HILL (non stop) FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, 29th, 30th MARCH AND 1st APRIL 2013 Northbound BAKER STREET 00:12 00:24 00:36 00:48 SUNDAY, 31st MARCH 2013 Southbound HARROW-ON-THE-HILL 06:55 Northbound BAKER STREET 24:00 00:10 00:25

As 5 trains are being used on the North shuttle yes they will be stabled at Ricky and Watford. Plenty of space. The key is ensuring that there are sufficient trains ready for Tuesday AM. In the past units have been stored at Ruislip depot on the Central but with the extension of Rayners Lane reversers the Uxbridge branch is covered.

What happens to all the drivers roistered to work on theses days? They are given the choice of changing rest days, taking annual leave or coming into work. The services that are running are being driven by Ricky T/OP's.
