I just got an email from amazon showing
British Transport Films Collection Volume 11 - Experiment Under London [DVD]
It contains the 5 films made about building the Victoria Line
It comes out in June
The films were out on a DVD from Beulah a few years ago but I did read somewhere that the films on the disc were slightly shortened
I have the disc and did see the films when they were all shown back to back in the booking hall at charing cross district line, LT had set up a small cinema there when the vic opened in 1969.
I seem to remember there was more about the step plate building at Finsbury Park in the films shown then than on the Beulah DVD
Maybe SWMBO will get it for me for Xmas ?
