Not sure I've seen mention of the possibility of Crossrail operating the lines to Chingford, Enfield Town or Cheshunt before....?

Short description of the contract or purchase(s):
The contract is a new fixed-term concession agreement for operating the Crossrail services on new Crossrail infrastructure and over existing networks.
The contract will cover all aspects of train and passenger service operations over the Crossrail network. It is currently anticipated that:
(1) this will include the operation of approximately 27 stations, an estimated 672 timetabled services per weekday to deliver a peak timetable of up to 24 trains per hour and an estimated 11.4m train km/year;
(2) the contract term will be eight years with an option to extend by up to 31 months, exercised at TfL's discretion.;
(3) the Crossrail train services will connect the City, Canary Wharf, the West End and Heathrow Airport to commuter areas east and west of London.
(4) In addition to the services identified above, the Crossrail Train Operator may be required to operate train services and manage stations on routes further out to Reading and/or Ebbsfleet and/or on additional routes from Liverpool Street to Chingford, Enfield Town and Cheshunt. Such operations are dependent on future decisions by the Department for Transport.

Total quantity or scope:
The scope of the contract is expected to include:
(a) Adopting and operating the existing Shenfield to Liverpool Street train services and associated stations that are anticipated to be separated from the Greater Anglia Franchise in 2015. This may involve operating and maintaining existing leased rolling stock and/or the short term leasing of additional rolling stock, that in due course is anticipated to be partially replaced by new rolling stock supplied by TfL.
(b) Supporting the anticipated introduction of a new fleet of class 345 rolling stock (including making any necessary interim arrangements for the provision and/or maintenance of rolling stock whilst the new fleet is being introduced) anticipated to be initially on the route between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, and the subsequent roll-out of the new fleet across the Crossrail network thereafter.
(c) Development of a close operational relationship with TfL's Crossrail rolling stock and depot provider to ensure that the new fleet maintenance and performance requirements are achieved.
(d) Development of timetables using industry processes to meet required service levels in line with the introduction of the Crossrail services, which is anticipated to be staged.
(e) Provision of resources to support command and control activities, train operations and station management, maintenance and retail services.
(f) Recruitment and training of the personnel necessary for the provision of the Crossrail services.
(g) Delivery of station enhancement works and/or supporting the delivery of station enhancement works by others.
(h) Obtaining safety certification to operate the Crossrail services and undertake trial operations.
(i) The provision of resources to support the introduction of the new depot and station facilities and the associated dynamic testing and commissioning activities, including making any necessary interim alternative berthing arrangements in anticipation of the new depot facilities.
(j) Entering into station and track access agreements and station leases.
(k) Collection and protection of TfL's revenue.
(l) Generation of some secondary revenue.

(a) An option for Transport for London Limited to extend the contract period for up to 31 months following the initial contract period anticipated to be for approximately 8 years.
(b) The use of Crossrail rolling stock instead of existing rolling stock, particularly to supplement the peak capacity between Shenfield and Liverpool Street with an associated revision to the timetable.
(c) The operation of Woolwich station with associated revisions to the timetable.
