Hi all, Being as I live around the area, I frequently visit what will eventually become part of the Croxley Rail Link. The site at the moment is nothing more than an overgrown set of rails, but if you look closely in the undergrowth you can still find some interesting things. On my last visit there I found what appears to be two wooden planks intersecting at a right angle held together by a metal plate. On one fo the planks, the letters 'CB' can be made out, and partially another letter but it is too obscured to suggest what it may be. I was hoping that some of the knowledge on the forum may be able to help me in identifying what the lettering may have said, and what the item actually is. Secondly, I also found what appears to be a large metal object, slightly resembling a hinge. Again, I was hoping that the knowledge on here can help me find an answer as to what it actually is. A few more photos can be found here: s1076.beta.photobucket.com/user/Marri260/library/LU%20Croxley%20tipMany thanks, Chris Edit by Londonstuff: resized pics to max 800x500 as per Forum rules so that the site doesn't look distorted to those on mobile devices or lower-resolution screens.
