I was looking at Google Maps and accidentally clicked on Ladbroke Grove station. It showed the timetable of upcoming trains in either direction as usual. What surprised me however was that it showed that two District train served Ladbroke Grove at 5:38am and 5:50am heading for Edgware Road. Is this an anomaly?

I've just looked at the London Underground website and both the 5.38 and 5.50 are District line services! I assume that these two trains will run in service to Edgware Road from Hammersmith Depot where they will then run the Wimbleware line services. Maybe if you look at late night services, there may be a couple of District line services running back to Hammersmith Depot from the Wimbleware line- have not checked this out though

Two District line trains [C-stock] start at Hammersmith Depot, currently no District line C-stocks finish at Hammersmith Depot So those odd noises one often hears at Hammersmith H&C are from the secret manufacturing plant.

Not quite the balance of the district workings would come from h+c trains that start up from lillie bridge and triangle
