I would urge caution to anyone thinking of having a go at modelling LUL - there really isn't a lot out there for the subject meaning you may well have to do a heck of a lot of 'scratch building'. Personally I'd like to do 1980's LTS or Great Eastern...........but it's the same problem here too (regarding electric multiple units). Hopefully the companies producing these 'goods' will realise that not all of us were born in the steam era or live alongside the east/west coast mainlines Saying that, my visit to Phil's West Somerset Railway last summer has given me a new found interest in western region diesel multiple units - and I may pay another visit or two this summer to get some 'research' photos.

Russ Thank you very much, i know it will be a challenge, but I'm up to it. i have already had some experience in the area of model railways. i built a electric round circuit track with a pair of 44 diesel units, i even had a few 'sticks' in places. It should be interesting, Thank you regards Jason!
