If you are looking for a simple, easy to use signal simulation, try "Track attack". They can be found at: www.gensheet.co.uk/trackattack.htmHave a look at the "City" demonstration.

Ah! Track Attack! I got these sims years ago but the display was so tiny it made my eyes ache! Also the fact that the software is password protected and requires a new password every year made it not worth bothering to re-install on my new PC!
For my liking, you can't beat the realism of Simsig!

I've tried simsig, but, didn't like it. I spose if we all liked the same thing, the world would be a boring place!

Simsig is by far and a way the best of the lot in my opinion.

SIAM's Yarnton is quite a good signal simulator, as long as you know which levers to throw and in which order. Can be daunting at first but soon becomes second nature.

I did try to check out www.siam.co.uk at the time of the search, but that didn't come up for me, so I assumed the site I found was current. Perhaps someone should tell Siam to remove its redundant website. Russ

Must admit, I do like their signal box sims! They seem quite realistic in that you have to deal with the block bells, as well as setting the routes in the correct order etc!
Don't think I could cope with their driving sims now though! I'm used to the superb BVE type graphics, going back to text would be a bit difficult!

Link works ok for me! If you're having probs, enter via the main site www.pcrail.co.uk. I do have most of the PC Rail manual sims, great fun! Very stressful at times with bells ringing all over the place, and trains approaching form all directions... I think I'd better stick to driving in real life! ;D
