Do you have any additional routes installed, and in what order?

If you are doing a re-install make sure you put the old Train Simulator folder in the Recycle bin first. I found with extra routes and stock MSTS doesn't uninstall them and if the problem is there it won't go away. It may be a route problem. Does the Activity and Route editor work on all the routes. Make sure you have all the patches and the latest x tracks installed for the Picc line. Darren.

Mine did something like this after i'd installed Dorset Coast. I used TrainStore and it was fine after that.

If the crash is just as it starts reading from CD, make sure you check/clean the disc in case it is a problem with dirt or scratches causing corrupt data and a crash.
