Was going on earlier, service was suspended Camden - Edgware at police request. Turned up at Golders with the hope of getting in to town and instead was confronted with the sight of what can only be described as... Loads of coppers. The ones that wear the silly green gilets, the normal ones, you name it they were all there.
Question is though, what on earth happened?

The ones that wear the silly green gilets, the normal ones, you name it they were all there. Question is though, what on earth happened? An armed robbery at the Carphone Warehouse on Golders Green Road, followed by the gang making their escape via Golders Green station. By the look of the news reports they were all youths, so it seems they intended to make their escape back to south London via the Northern Line! Because of numerous reports of persons on the tracks, and unable to confirm exactly who had gone where, unfortunately there was no option but to carry out a full police track search of the whole section from Golders Green down to Hampstead. No one was found on that section, however 2x arrests were made on a northbound train which was held in the section Golders Green to Brent Cross. |
