The thread about the Model Railway Show at Maidenhead made mention of the Lambeth Road layout which includes LU rolling stock, sounds and infrastructure. The layout had day and night modes and I must say the night mode was exceptionally atmospheric!

I've put this in a new thread as this relates specifically to that super layout, rather than entry to the show it was recorded at.

I wouldn't call it a 'layout' as such, more a 'diorama'. Looks nice but limited scope for operation AFAICS, hence the comment.

Whilst there are only 2 tube line platforms there is a lot of freight operations and a depot too. The trains run very well because they have been well made and there are not to many points to create problems. It is nice to see a new UndergrounD layout starting on the exhibition circuit from a one of the younger modellers who also works for LU. ;D I am sure this layout will develop further, from is excellent start. XF
