Hello,
does somebody know where the "1972 Tube Stock" carriages 3415 and 3528 still exist or scrapped?
if scraps, with which scrap-merchant?
thanks and greetings
Dennis

They are both Mark 1 cars and from 3 cars units. They would have been scrapped as not converted to 1972mk2 or 1967 stock. I don't know where they were scrapped? Booths?

My records show 3528 in store at MOD Shoeburyness from 22/07/1999. I have a note that says it may have been reserved / sold to Schweerbau for their grinder train but this may be wrong. I can't find any record of 3415 being stored with it.

According to the list here (from late 2011): www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/tube_fleet_listThe stored 1972 stock in existence is: Acton Works: 3202-4202-4302-3302 3205-4205-4330-3305 3212-4212 4312-3509 3423-4523-3523 London Road: 3215-4215-4315-3315 Aldwych: 3229-4229-4329-3329 Hainault: 3411-4511-3511 Shoeburyness: 3206-4206-4306-3306 3209-4209-4309-3309 4322-3322 3228-4207-4328-3328 3219-4219-4319-3319 3221-4221-4321-3321 None of these are listed as 3415 and 3528, but could be renumberings? Some of the Shoeburyness Stock has moved to Eastleigh, i saw some there in the summer (see photos in the folder below): wavygravy.smugmug.com/Trains/South-Trip-Day-1-Hampshire

4515 and 3515, along with 4528 and 3528 were sold to Schweerbau in 1998 for conversion to a Rail Grinding train. Their UNDM partners went for scrap.
I last saw two of them at Stadthagen, Germany, in yellow livery, in photos dated 12/4/03 (see Underground News No.504, December 2003). I have no idea if they are still extant, which two they are and what happened to the other pair.

The FOI list shows that a car of 'Q' stock is member of the LU fleet. No location is given. Anyone know where it is?

Theres only five in existance... The two Q38s which were in running order till the 90s, the Q35 trailer that LURS formerly owned, a Q23 that came back from Gloucester, and one from the LT museum.
Perhaps its the Q23 ex Gloucester?

Perhaps its the Q23 ex Gloucester? It is described as a 'District Engineers Saloon' and if I have matched the table on the next page correctly, it states that " Last time all Royal Family travelled together" and that "Peter Hendry has intertest, Ian Brown MD overground"
