Just thought I'd let you know that you can expect a new series next year. A member of the Blast! Films team has approached and informed me that they will be filming at three locations on New Year's Eve, with my station being one of them The footage that will be shot on New Year's Eve will be for a one off episode, and the program will be about the history of the Underground. I was also told that they'll be back on the combine in the new year to film footage for a full second series!

I look forward to seeing that, the last series was well done.
Hopefully the editing will either feature or not feature you, depending on your preference!

A matter of opinion methinks, far too much emphasis on the NOC/NCC or whatever it's called these days and not enough on the real decision makers in the hot seats at the sharp end. Personally my preference would be for hour long episodes and coverage of the new technology. Alas under what we are told are the latest draconian restrictions upon anything of interest I doubt there'll be more to see than is available from other sources so I expect some regurgitation of the old with a new spin rather than any real insight into the new. Of course wearing my 'obtuse' hat some fly on the wall video and audio work from TfL/LUL Board and very senior management and the same from the RMT, ASLEF and TSSA campaign HQs is probably far too much to expect but would be quite entertaining from a conflict appreciation viewpoint!

Would i be right to presume they'll be covering the steam runs? It would be great to see some 'behind the scenes' footage and very appropriate for LU's 150th.

Unfortunately I understand from a very good source, that more-of-the-same is to be offered in the new series! With a certain gentleman, who was shown on both itv & BBC previous series, being asked to appear quite prominently in the NOC material as few other current Staff wanted to participate in-shot this time around!

Two awful people spring to mind. One who went to 55 by choice and the other not!

AH? He's far too chirpy for his own good, especially when he's had to wake me up at 0230!

Fantastic news this! Really happy this is going ahead. I really enjoyed the last series and many of my non "railway minded" friends watched it too! (The missus had no choice of course!)
