Just been tipped off about this one: Ship Simulator 2006Looks quite promising and is apparently due for general release in the shops later this week! That should keep you happy Chris! I think I've driven almost every form of transport either in real life or on the PC, and now I can add a ship to my list!! ;D

And don't do what a French captain did: punched the harbour wall in Calais with a brand new ship! Whoops!

Heh heh. Thats what i thought, Alan! Done cars/trains/planes etc, but not boats! Might be worth buying if i'm feeling liquid. Dunno how long the novelty will last though.

There's a demo which you can download on the website, and i've found it for 14.99 delivered from www.play.com, which is cheaper than the quoted price on the website. Gonna play the demo then possilbly buy it! Let you know how it is!

You think Microsoft would do better than private individuals working for the hobby not the cash?

Well I used to use a flight sim (I think it was sub-logic) about 10 years ago. I decided to try to fly London New York in real time.......... about 5 hours into my "flight" we had a power cut I never tried it again. Oh and as for BVE I managed to get from High Barnet to Morden non stop in 20 to 25 minutes or so.............. can anyone better this??

You can't go from Morden to High Barnet can you? I don't see a point in speeding through stations - I like to drive the route properly

I thought I'd see what BVE did if you broke the rules ;D

Heh - not a lot, apart from maybe trip you if you're not quck enough with the button! ( I admit I've tried it also! - You might need to be quick with the Tripcock Override button though, with the spacing of some of those signals!)

The Northern is by far the most realistic of the tube bve routes. I have downloaded the routes and 95s. Work perfectly. Recently downloaded a 38ts. Does it work on bve2 or 4 or both? Cant get it to work, the 38ts that is.

Should work fine with BVE4. Have you installed it to the right place and everything?
