TfL have published their draft business plan for the next ten years. There is not a lot about DLR expansion but 1 key scheme is mentioned. TfL intend to expand the Bow Church - Stratford section to full dual track operation. Clearly the Crossrail funded movement of Pudding Mill Lane station helps a great deal but there is still the section from the A12 bridge to Bow Junction to be doubled. The deadline for completion is 2019 which suggests that there might be tweaks to the NR alignment post Crossrail to create the space for the DLR tracks (speculation on my part). The other question is whether the C2C diversionary link might be affected too. We shall find out as the plans are developed but we're probably years away from those.

Suspect Network Rail and c2c, or whoever the East Thameside Franchise incumbent is by then, will have something to say about the loss of a diversionary route, particularly as it's been used so often in recent weeks.

I don't think they'll get rid of it, there's spare land next to the tracks which means they can easily be realigned and made to join the East Anglia Lines slightly to the west.

Interesting... between Bow Junction & the A12 bridge there's a new residential block that is very close to the existing DLR single track, so I'm not sure whether there would be sufficient space for an additional track there. DLR didn't appear bothered about that block at the time of its planning application, as they had no plans to double the track then.
And there's probably not enough space to realign the track from Fenchurch Street to the west, as it would potentially go across the only entrance to another new residential block in the 'V' between the Network Rail lines at Bow Junction.

On the actual curve from the embankment into Bow Church it wouldn't strike me as impossible that they have to do something similar to the old St Mary's Curve, where there are two tracks but clearances are insuficient for trains to pass (conceptually similar to interlacing I suppose). This would still be more flexible and higher capacity than a single track though, so probably worth doing.
