Recently I keep hearing the following PA when approaching Green Park (in either direction):
'The next station is Green Park. Change for the Picadilly and Victoria lines. Exit for Wembley National Stadium'. Last time I looked, Wembley was not in Green Park.
Can anyone shed any light on what is going on?

I'm so pleased that someone else has noticed this! I thought it was really odd to hear that as I rushed off the train at Green Park.

Exactly the same for me, preparing to get off at Green park, not really listing - hearing what sounded like that Wembley stadium announcement, and not being sure if the DVA was mis-programmed or I was going senile! |

This is a known issue and the on train systems are being reprogrammed to remove it. Will take a little while to get through the fleet though. I don't know how it got there in the first place.

Still doing it. And why would it be an Olympics message telling you to change from the Jubilee at Green Park? Presume it is Buckingham Palace and someone has just hit the wrong message when loading the announcements.

I suspect it was an error when they updated some of the messages not too long ago. I think the Olympics does play a part in this update; for instance, they had to remove 'the O2' from North Greenwich for a short time while it was named 'North Greenwich Arena' so when it came to putting it back, they must have accidentally altered the sequence for Green Park!

they've always had the "exit here for Wembley National Stadium" on the Jubilee line, it just must have been accidentally loaded to Green Park not too long ago!

I think the problem is perhaps the 'exit here for...' announcements have been altered to be one before the next station they are supposed to be said at. For example I have heard several trains announce 'exit here for Buckingham Palace' at Westminster rather than Green Park and then announce Wembley National Stadium at Green Park. After Green Park the next 'exit here for...' announcement isn't until Wembley Park.

Shows how much attention I pay to those announcements! I've lost count of the number of times I've changed between Jubilee and Bakerloo at Baker Street en route to Paddington or Kilburn Park in the last few months.

The Green Park announcements seemed to have been fixed going by the last few times I've travelled through that station recently.
Slightly related, it appears North Greenwich has been updated to "Exit here for The Emirates Airline and the O2"

I'd not heard a wrong announcement for a few weeks, but today, at Green Park, again the voice advertised "exit for Wembley National Stadium". This time I was ready for it and glanced over at the LED display - that said "exit for Buckingham Palace"
I suppose that they have not fixed them all yet then!

I heard it today going east but it was only on the "the next station" part, the "this is Green Park" park was fine.

End of Feb is supposed to be the completion date for the DVA mods.
