Hello again
Every house in our road in Beckton got the leaflet “Festive Fun – Discover the magic this season by DLR”, to tell us we can go shopping and other things on our train, how nice. But on three of the five weekends before the christmas holiday there are no Beckton DLR trains, then there are none at all for 10 days, yes 10 days from before christmas to after new year. It seems like a waste of money on the leaflet.

But just think of the exciting and magical mystery tour you will enjoy when you catch the rail replacement bus!

It's all worth it to get Crossrail built.

It's all worth it to get Crossrail built. The disruption is certainly, but this thread is about whether it was worth spending money on the leaflet advertising a service that isn't available.

So just because the DLR is closed on certain sections it means people in the Beckton area can't cope getting on a rail replacement bus to connect up with the DLR? Sorry but I disagree it would be more hassle working out what houses to avoid giving leaflets too. This just seems a bit of a moan for moaning sake and nit picking at the DLR.

I tend to agree with you, my post above was just pointing out that Deep Level was defending the wrong thing.
