Jubbly escalators at Charing Cross. Bonus question - (at a guess) today is the anniversary of the last day in public use in 1999

I'll be a bit different, the escalators give access to the Cenotaph.

My apologies, I should have said earlier, there are two images to identify today. If that's the case then I'm going to say that both photos must be of the same thing which I answered earlier as Charing Cross .

My apologies, I should have said earlier, there are two images to identify today. And there was me thinking someone had camera-shake! ;D However my previous answer stays the same.

Answer: Charing Cross - Jubilee line circulating area at bottom of escalators to Bakerloo Line Image A:2009/08/05 13:20:32 [londonstuff] (click for a larger version) Image B:2009/08/05 12:47:22 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) (Times are from EXIF information and are only as accurate as the camera's clock. Chris M is particularly bad at checking this, and may or may not have adjusted the time for DST)So I guess there are now úber bonus points for guessing what Londonstuff and Chris M were both doing at Charing Cross about one o'clock on the fifth of August three years ago! My guess is the Sultan's Elephant?
I'll be a bit different, the escalators give access to the Cenotaph.
According to the card: "Bonus answer - Armistice Day and Rememberance Sunday; Charing Cross is the closest station to the Cenotaph." As far as I am concerned that'll take the points.

I hesitate to suggest that the entrances to Westminster station are closer?
