I see that Antony Badsey-Ellis has a new book out on December 1, titled "Underground Heritage" - this looks right up my street! Or down my tunnel! Published by Capital Transport. Alistair

Just got my copy of this yesterday - and it's a lovely and mainly picture-orientated book. Chock-full of photos of nice period fittings: tiles, station signs, lettering, roundels and even platform canopy edgings! Alistair

Indeed, had a flick through it at the LT Museum the other day, looks a good read.

The book has an associated blog: undergroundheritage.wordpress.com/. A list of references and all of the endnotes have now been put onto it as well, for those who want more information. There just wasn't enough room in the book with all the interesting stuff to show!
