I've got it. Download the route from here: www.virtual-rail.co.uk/bvevrr.htm There is a link to the train from the VR site, but it doesn't seem to be on the page it directs you too.

May I point out that a 92 stock for BVE4 is being made at TSC, so that is something to look forward to. ;D

TSC = Train Sim Central?? That'll be good i was a bit disappointed with the one from the link that Tom gave - but at least i've got the right train for the W&C now. I can't wait for the Central to come out!

yes, Sturdjos, I too was disappointed when I downloaded the '92, its not the best but it will do us until someone brings out something more realistic. I believe that somebody under the name of slick bve may be bringing out a '92 as well as Train Sim Central, that should be more realistic. www.freewebs.com/slickbve but this months bandwidth has been used!!

Even so, once you are used to BVE4, BVE2 seems so rough in comparison. W&C on BVE2 is ok, but only if you've not used BVE4 earlier in the day!

BVE 4 is so much better, but it would be nice if the Victoria Line ATO routes worked on it, I think the developers working on it.

The new 92 should be excellent, however, I think the W&C should be updated for BVE4 before you use the new 92 on it!

Yes, some errors are presented on BVE 2 routes in 4 but it is OK to ignore them and the route will work the same. Victoria Line ATO doesn't work in BVE 4.

OK, in answer to a few posts: 1.) The Waterloo & City line and the LT1992 stock (BVE2 only) are both available at www.virtual-rail.co.uk! The 92 was uploaded at weekend! ;D 2.) BVE2 routes will run in BVE4, however, BVE4 is more 'toughy' on coding erros than BVE2, so it will pick up the slightest thing. BVE2 trains will also run in BVE4, but the cab graphics are distorted as BVE2 trains have been dseigned for 800x600 screens, not 1024x768! Hope that clears things up! ;D

<pedant>640x480, not 800x600</pedant> With the cabs being 480*440 IIRC.

If anyone else has got the W & C for BVE2, is your ATO terrible?
Mine is - goes up to 60km/h, then proceeds to slow down to 20, then 10, then 5, then slower than that, about a minute from the station. It then proceeds to -eventually- stop the train, with what (I'd imagine) would be about 1/3 to a 1/2 of the first car in the platform!!
Terrible!
