Okay, today's problem is:
Went to site and downloaded Mill Hill East and Northern Heights into existing BVE4 folder.
Same problem with both when trying to run: throws up file-read error message (dozens of lines of 'object not recognised' etc) and if you ignore it you drive into thin air!
What simple thing have I done wrong this time folks?

OK, it's my route, I'm hear, never fear. OK, you MUST make sure that you have the Northern Line v3 (from installed to your BVE4 directory. This directory is: C:\Program Files\BVE4\Railway\ObjectFailing this, I'm lost. ;D

Hi Teaman, Can you explain what the problem is? You should be able to open the .exe install files, and the install directory should say C:\Program Files\BVE\Railway\Route\Mill Hill East, if it doesn't, copy and paste this into it. (Change the BVE bit to BVE4 if you wish to install it for BVE4).

Thanks, JLEBVE. I tried that but still no luck. I'll have a fiddle around later and try and specify the problem.

Basically i install all the files to the directory above with the Northern Line 3.1 installed, and when i go to BVE 4 and try to open it there is no sign of it at all.

Most lines of error message read 'cannot find part of path........\object.' though there are also errors on the sound What next? Reinstall?

The MHE/NH objects SHOULD be installed to their own object folder, (Called 'Mill-Hill'), and NOT the 'NorthernLine_v3' object folder. The routefiles should be installed to a folder in your C:\Program Files\BVE4\Railway\Route folder. (IE: Mill Hill East and/or Horthern Heights. Otherwise: Install the MHE objects and/or the NH objects to C:\Program Files\BVE4\Railway\Object\Mill-Hill Make sure that the Northern Line v3 objects are installed to the object directory: (C:\Program Files\BVE4\Railway\Object - the NL v3 install will auto now where to install it to. Make sure the MHE/NH sounds are installed to the sound directory: (C:\Program Files\BVE4\Railway\Sound) If you still have the problems, please post ALL the error here, and I'll see what the problem is.

Simple: The Northern Line from www.trainsimcentral.co.uk is required and by default will install to C:\Program files\BVE\ so this means you must install these routes to C:\Program Files\BVE\ This doesn't stop the route working with BVE4.

JLEBVE
I know that for most route creaters it is a hobbie and most of them are unsure about when their route will actually be completed, but I am really looking forward to your Jubilee Line route being released.
Would you be able to give me an estimated release date?

(Mods, you could put this in a new JLE thread!)
Hi, I am not sure at the moment, as I am currently awating the Canning Town, West Ham and Stratford station objects to be made and sent by my co-coder, Chris. When I reciece them, there wont be much left to do. (All stations from Green Park to North Greenwich are complete). ;D
