Very impressive! - However, the cab windows are far to clean. You can actually see through these ones!!

That's because there isn't any glass in them yet ;D. Incidently, is the wiper blade articulated like the D78 i.e. Stays vertical across its travel or is it fixed to the wiper arm, like the 38TS.

The middle blade is articulated with the other two being fixed. I agree it all looks a bit too clean. It's fantastic though!

That's because there isn't any glass in them yet ;D. The glass is there because the black beading is present. New cab windows. Obviously stopped for a few days to fit them then. ;D

The 73TS is now complete and I'll post a little video of the run down the bank from RPK to HAM. See if we can get in a race with the D78. I'll make sure we have some rain as well to get the wipers working.

Very Nice, but there still is one question - WHEN? (even just a rough idea of what Year would be nice!)

When! The burning question. Well, we've finished the west side of the route and Eddie, Richard and Jimi are concentrating their resources on the area around Earls Court which is as far east as we are going on this release or else it will never happen. I'm not sure how far south they're going but only north as far as Olympia. I'm working on the Battery Loco cab so we can have some maintenance scenarios out of Lille Bridge which is being modeled.
I did do a video but managed to get routed wrong and crash into an AI train. I'm certainly not posting that one. Only for the team to debug.

Here's a little video from Barons Court to Ravenscourt Park. Yes! The sun is shinning and it's raining because we are under a shower cloud.

Is there any way to eliminate the as I call them 'default running sounds' you can hear in the video? As in the various knocks and squeaks that are also heard on alot of other unmotored stock like the original default MK1's?

Very nice, but I also think that it would have been better without that annoying Railworks brake hiss. Out of interest, what are the specs of your PC, because that looks quite demanding!

Yep! We can get rid of or make quieter or louder any sound you can here in that video. As for my computer spec, I'll have to check on that as I'm on my laptop at the moment which will never play the route. The route is very demanding on resources. I think I got an Intel I5 processor which I've overclocked with a lovely big fan on it so I can't even get the case cover back on with 8Gb of ram and a 100Gb SSD hard drive. Have to check on the video card. Using FRAPS to video capture does slow it down marginally.

Ok. Those are the sort of specs for my new PC which I am (very slowly) building. At the moment, I'm stuck on some huge, ancient, thing, with 2x 2.4Ghz xeon processors (hyperthreaded), 2Gb of RAM, and 512Mb of VRAM, so it may be "interesting" to drive the route at ~2FPS

Here you go. My order for Eclipse Computers for the system I built. I made sure the i5 processor was unlocked because I'm getting a stable 4.30Ghz out of it at the moment and could most probably go higher if I tinkered with the core voltages but I'm not experienced enough for this.

That is quite a good setup, I will be going for 3rd gen Intel, 3570k on an MSI Z77 board, and (even more eventually) a GTX660Ti)

I also noticed that it must be standard UK signalling in place and not the LUL-style signalling as you can hear the AWS 'bing' when you approached the signals! Other than that, truly fascinating work

OK! Here's a little demo of the Runback Protection system and Tripcock in operation out of the pipe and up to Barons Court. Can anyone verify the lights illuminating, beeps sounding and button pressing is all correct. Ignore all the pops and clunks as we have to address that yet. Thanks. Darren.
