Where is the best place to get an end-on photograph of sub-surface stock and tube stock side-by-side? It should be somewhere where I as a member of the general public can take a photograph from (i.e. not inside a depot or somewhere else restricted to staff).

Baron's Court - Acton Town, Ealing Common, Ealing Broadway, Rayners lane - Uxbridge, Wembley Park - Finchley Road and Mile End. At most of those you would have to get them approaching or leaving a station together. I would say give Chiswick Park a go, as the Piccadilly line has no platforms. It should be fairly easy to get a picture of a 73ts overtaking a D stock.

End on would have to be a terminous so u can stand infront of the train(s). The only terminous matching this criteria that I can think of would indeed be Uxbridge.

Would it work at mile end? It's a bit dim and there's all them flippin' pillars on the platforms.
