Hi Dave ;D
Does anyone know how long each refurbished train is likely to need after coming back from the plant before it can enter passenger service?

From experience with previous refurbs, it's only the first train that takes so long to enter service, once the first train has been OK'ed following trains returned usually enter service about a week after being returned.

I figured it would be something like that. Will every refurb have to be tested on the South Ealing test track as well as the District Main, or would testing on the Main suffice?

I would guess a simple test run on the main will suffice.
