I did AM and PM peak Wednesday, Here is what was seen

One thing i have noticed is running number changed a few times

AM There was a Signal Fail at Baker Street after 0755 lot of delays

It's sad how little A Stocks are out now. I was at Baker Street for about half an hour on Monday waiting for one. None turned up, so I got bored and took an S8 to Chesham, and all the way back to Baker Street, not a single A Stock seen.

Just got in from work having been at Watford Met, for anyone interested there is an A Stock stabled overnight on platform 2. I could see it through the glass of the station front doors (there's an S Class stabled on Platfrom 1), no idea what number though.

Bad move going to Chesham, Harrow On The Hill was your best bet.

Half hour at Baker Street!! How did you feel about the suspicious behavior announcements. ;D

Well, I've paid homage. For me I'm lucky living less than a minutes walk from the bridge South of Willesden Green station. I used the tactic of seeing what was there and 17th July saw the A stock going South to Baker Street so went back there to catch it's number.... 442 going to Uxbridge so I looked up the working timetable and saw it was due to return to Aldgate then fast to Chesham. I went on an earlier train to Liverpool Street to drain my bladder then got back to grab the front to Aldgate where I had the rear right-hand seat all the way to Chesham; a beautiful journey with full trainscape of oth the train I was on and other train and cool and overcast all the way for comfort. To enhance my joy it was the only one out that day.

One typical incident on the return where I decided to change to go back home at Finchley Road: On approach to Harrow -On-The-Hill the driver announced it would be going fast to Finchley Road. Half a minute later he announced the train was going out of service and that we should use the (S-stock) train on the adjoining platform. He then opened the doors as the S-stock train shut it's doors and slid out leaving everyone standing.

Quite a comedown that was.
