There is a photo showing the Central Line RAT running at Greenford with the front tripcock isolated, any idea how or why this was permitted?
Photo seen on Julian Gajewski flickr page.
I haven't published the link as I am unsure of my right to do so.

Central line uses ATP and doesen't have any conventional trainstops, and the RAT is fitted with ATP. Therefore in the event of a SPAD the ATP will bring the train safely to a hault and the tripcock is not needed when on the central. ATP also provides intervention braking in the event of an overspeed.
