Good morning folks, I spent most of last week on a 6 day tour of the UK, including London. Highlights of the trip would include: The Night Riveria Sleeper and Caledonian Sleeper Trains. The Railfest Event at York. A tour of London taking in trains, underground and buses. First Great Western and East Midland Train HST's Former Dublin Bus Prototype WH1 which is/was owned by Ensignbus in Essex. Several hours after I photographed the bus it was destroyed in a fire!!! Little did we know. and much much more.... The photographs are divided into each day. Click on thewandererphotos.smugmug.com/International/2012 to select what day you would like to view. Or if you are just interested in just the London Underground Photos please click on smu.gs/MPSIp2 and this will bring you to latest pictures of my London Underground Collection. Enjoy! How were the sleeper trains? I'm always too excited on a sleeper to sleep.

Good evening all,
Thanks for all the nice comments.
The "Dery" typo has been corrected. Yes I do use a Nikon D90 (A great Camera). For the LUL photos underground I use a prime 35mm F1.8 lens. Great in a low light environment.
The Sleeper Trains were great. On the FGW sleeper I woke up a few times during the night. Checking the Phone GPS I saw we had gone via Bristol TM. It took me a few minutes to figure out why the phone wouldn't get a GPS signal..we were in Chipping Sodbury Tunnel!
It took me longer to sleep on the FSR sleeper after a trip to the lounge car. Partly cos my travelling companion (who I picked up on Thursday at Chester) fell asleep first and proceeded to snore! Once asleep I slept soundly until 0610 when the alarm went off. Feeling the train braking I looked out the Window thinking we must be stopping at Watford Jct. It took a few minutes to get my bearings but it looked like I could see 3rd / 4th rail! Then it dawned on me. We had just passed Kilburn High Road.
Two great trips and I might be tempted to do the Highland Sleeper in Oct as I will be visiting London again.
