hello, all .. i mainly lurk but sometimes post. this is one of those times.
i'm in the middle of producing an official 30/45 minute film on the demise of the A-Stock and the introduction of the S, on behalf of the London Transport Museum.
right now, i'm scouring around trying to find some old footage of A60's or 62's, preferably when they were in their original non-painted 'silver' state, and my usual source have turned up blank.
thought it might be worth posting on here as a request to see if anyone has any old footage, that they'd be willing to let me use ... probably just a few seconds at most - a flashback shot - at the beginning of the the video.
there's no money in it (sry!) but you would definitely get a credit and a big 'thanks' from me.
if you can help me out, drop me an email? i'm 'geoff@geofftech.co.uk' or PM me, and that would be lovely of you ...
thanks, Geoff.

There's a channel on youtube called A60Stock, which has videos from Beulah libraries featuring unrefurbished stock. Links are also on the channel to other A Stock videos in Beulah. Hope this helps...

Leave a comment on one of the videos you may want to use, he responds to my comments pretty well so it shouldnt take long for your wish to be granted or declined.

Assuming that you're geofftech2, will Victoria Pipe have a role? Thought she was a spectular host for your marvelous 1967 stock and Stratford International videos

In xercesfobe's videos above. What are the screens on the ends of the through roads at Baker Street? Are they doors like on the Jubilee Line platforms or just more evidence of the nanny state in operation? When the bay road platforms (1 & 4) were recently extended for the S stock, there was insufficient room for platforms of the minimum acceptable width. Consequently a special derogation was required and this was only granted if the narrow platform sections were equipped with these screens, which allow the maximum distance it is possible to get from the platform edge to be greater than half the width of the platform, which is what it would have been had they been built as conventional island platforms.

Thanks for the quick reply, as I thought, the nanny state interfering.

Thanks everyone! i've shot off a message to CityTransportInfo as they look like being my best bet. I await their reply....
am now just waiting to see (like many of you here, i'm sure!) when the last A60/62 will run in public service, and then i will be there too to capture that .. and then the video can be finished off.
thanks all again, Geoff.

All I have are refurbished ones Geoff, sorry. My stuff was taken during the Ricky Canal Festival in '09 (rubbish weather but atmospheric). The advantage is that I always use a tripod. I had a good teacher...
