The Forum staff have been informed by a reliable source, that a forum member has been convicted of raping teenage boys, using railway forums/chatrooms to come into contact with younger enthusiasts.
A PRESS ARTICLE has been published regarding the offenses and conviction.
The forum staff know the account used on this forum by the individual (they were also a member of at least one other railway forum), which has been permanently disabled. Gossip or discussion regarding this matter or the identity of the account is not acceptable on the forum.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN APPROACHED
The offenses seem to have taken place between 2006 and August 2011.
We have no knowledge if the victims are members here, however if any younger member has been approached by another member (either directly on the open forum, via PM or e-mail) who has then behaved inappropriately or indecently, the forum staff would ask that you speak with a trusted adult and consider contacting the Police.
