Undergoing testing with LUL engineers. All part of the s7 enabling works.
The walkways etc have to be moved back one car length.

Was it 21301 or an S8-1?
Does this mean the sidings will be used to stable S7s? I thought the plan was to remove a couple of them and extend the other three for S8s.

I went past the sidings at 12:20 on 5012, and was suprised to see an S stock in the sidings. It was 21035/6 which was with half a dozen LU engineers.

Does that mean C stock may be stabling at Wembley Park too? If they are still around they may, but I think it would be doubtful.

Why is the H&C going to be stabling trains up at Wembley Park?

Does that mean C stock may be stabling at Wembley Park too? Wouldn't there be a problem with getting C stock to the sidings, as I thought they were banned from using the reversing siding at Harrow? Maybe that has changed, but it would still need H&C drivers to learn the route.

Why is the H&C going to be stabling trains up at Wembley Park? Hammersmith Depot has lost 5 stabling roads in the long shed as 2 x S7 cannot stable there anymore, so Wembley Park is replacing them.

Wembley Park Sidings will be decommissed and taken out of use from Sunday 24th June 2012 in order to allow works to prepare them for use by S7 staock trains from Decmeber 2012 timetable change.

Not that they will be much use between those dates - as S8 stock can't use them and A stock will be long gone!
